Types of Installations We Handle
Every install starts with the same question: what's this roof going on, and what does the homeowner need out of it?
- New residential construction and custom homes
- Room additions, second-story pop-ups, and dormer expansions
- Detached garages, workshops, and pole barns
- System upgrades — from 3-tab to architectural or metal
- Full re-decking projects with plywood or OSB replacement
Material Options and Real Trade-Offs
We're not commissioned salespeople — we'll tell you honestly which material fits your budget, your home's style, and how long you plan to stay.
- Architectural asphalt: best value, 25–30 year life, most popular in Peoria
- Standing-seam metal: 40+ year life, best resale, premium price
- Stone-coated steel: metal durability with the look of shingle or tile
- TPO / EPDM: for flat and low-slope sections, additions, and porches
Our Installation Process
Every installation follows the same disciplined sequence — no shortcuts, no missed flashing details, no post-install callbacks.
- Site walk with the homeowner or general contractor
- Decking inspection and repairs before the underlayment goes down
- Ice-and-water shield on all eaves, valleys, and penetrations
- Synthetic underlayment across the entire roof deck
- New drip edge, step flashing, and pipe boots on every penetration
- Ridge and soffit ventilation balanced to code (1:150 or 1:300)
- Final walk-through with the homeowner and full clean-up
Why Professional Installation Matters
A shingle is only as good as the underlayment beneath it and the flashing around it. Most of the leaks we're called to repair come from installations that skipped ice-and-water shield, cut corners on flashing, or ignored ventilation. A proper installation costs a little more up front and saves you thousands in avoided repairs and premature replacement.
